"So long as you hoist it over your shoulder first," Colin allows with a bob of his head.

Bene laughs, a snorting sound that results in mild choking since his head is tipped back, and he has to roll over with a self-conscious "ew."

"Ew indeed. Imagine thinking about the wrong thing at work."

[altusimperius]

"I think I'd want to just be put out of my misery."

[keenly]

"And it would certainly never fit."

[altusimperius]

Though he tries to continue sneering, Benedict can only laugh at Colin's expression.

"Not much of a masochist," he remarks, "I'm a little surprised, honestly."

[keenly]

"Just stating a fact," Colin says mildly. "I don't actually know about masochism. Haven't tried it. I'm up for doing almost anything at least once, though."

[altusimperius]

Bene furrows his brow.

"...I guess I don't either. It's just a word people say when they want to sound smart."

He purses his lips.

"I hope I sounded smart when I said it."

A bit of a pause, then Colin reaches out to pat Bene's cheek.

"Very smart."
